Judgement check

Checking comparisons…Your weights and consistency check will appear here.

Do your preferences agree with one another? This checks their internal logic, not whether the geology is correct.

Checks by group

What does consistency mean?

Think of three related choices. You might favour magnetics over radiometrics, and radiometrics over gravity. A strong preference for gravity over magnetics can then conflict with those choices.

The check considers both the direction and the strength of all comparisons in a group. A warning asks you to review the group; it does not identify one judgement as scientifically wrong.

CR means consistency ratio. It compares internal inconsistency with a random-comparison benchmark. Lower values mean closer agreement. This project permits map generation when every applicable group has CR ≤ 0.10.

CR is not a probability, an accuracy score or a measure of geological confidence. A consistent set of choices can still need geological justification.

Magnetics and gravity each have two criteria and one comparison. Their CR is zero by construction: there is no three-way conflict to check.

Technical consistency values

Values are ratios, not percentages. The backend applies the acceptance rule to unrounded values.

Resulting weights

Calculated from your comparisons, not directly assigned percentages.

Weights within each theme

Each theme is normalised separately. Display rounding may slightly affect the total.

Combined seven-layer weights

Theme weight × within-theme weight: each layer’s effective contribution to the weighting scheme.
